Meet the Team

Melissa, Dental Hygienist

Melissa’s career in the dental field spans over 25 years now, with over half of those spent right here at Legacy Dental SA. She completed her dental education at UT Health San Antonio and is a Certified Dental Hygienist with training in CPR. She loves the patient care aspect of her work and being able to build such friendly relationships over time. She’s also always happy to spend time with her wonderful coworkers!

Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys going to the beach, spending time outdoors, and taking care of her three fur babies!

Neha, Dental Hygienist

Neha’s career in oral healthcare spans eight years so far, and she studied dental hygiene at UT Health San Antonio, graduating Magna Cum Laude as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She really enjoys so many parts of being at Legacy Dental SA, including the friendly patients, the beautiful scenery, and the lovely coworkers!

At home, Neha has a loving husband and actually speaks three languages. She always enjoys doing adventurous activities outside of work, as well as painting, sewing, reading, singing, practicing photography, and cooling down with yoga.

Susan, Dental Hygienist

Susan was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and earned her Associates Degree in Applied Science. She then went on to earn her Certificate of Dental Hygiene and has spent countless hours of continuing education. Susan is compassionate and empathetic toward others and loves to teach patients different ways to help keep their mouth healthy.

What she loves about working at Legacy Dental SA is that they treat every patient as an individual and personalizing their treatment based on their specific needs. Outside of the office, Susan loves to travel, redo old furniture, and spend time with family and friends!

Margaret, Manager of Operations/RDA

Margaret has been a member of Legacy Dental SA for almost a decade, and she loves working with such a wonderful staff and seeing great patients every day. She earned her Associates of Applied Science from San Antonio College and has her certifications in nitrous oxide, pit and fissure sealants, and coronal polishing.

A San Antonio native, Margaret and her husband have a son and two Chihuahuas named Peanut and Zeus. Together, they’re a very happy, loving and energetic family, and she spends all the free time she can with them outside of work. Also, she really enjoys being outdoors!

Gamaliel, Registered Dental Assistant

Gamaliel (better known as “Gama”) earned his education at Northwest Vista and San Antonio College before joining our oral healthcare family 20+ years ago. His favorite part of the job is easy – the patients! Whether old or new, they ensure that there’s never a dull moment. Better yet, the whole office staff all works together well to make every day great. He is a RDA and has several certificates from Straumann, CEREC, and more, as well as many hours of continuing education under his belt. At home, Gamaliel and his wife Melinda have two children named Sebastian and Elena and a dog named Chico. He loves spending as much free time with his family as possible!

Valerie, Registered Dental Assistant

Valerie completed her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Assisting at San Antonio College and has been a member of our team for six years so far. She loves being able to transform smiles and lives through her position, as well as develop such strong relationships with patients. Dentistry truly is art in her eyes! Outside of the office, Valerie enjoys working out, being a dog mom to two mini Dachshunds and she enjoys working as an eyelash extension specialist on the weekends!

Jacqueline, Registered Dental Assistant

Jacqueline is originally from Firebaugh, CA and studied at San Antonio College. Here at Legacy Dental SA, she really enjoys being able to help patients achieve better oral health through her efforts. She is trained in monitoring nitrous oxide.

At home, Jacqueline is proud to be a part of such a caring and supportive family. Her hobbies include working out and playing soccer when she has the free time. She’s also bilingual!

Stephanie, Hygiene Coordinator

Stephanie was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and earned her Associates Degree in Applied Science. She’s been working in the dental field for 5 years and has been part of the Legacy Dental SA team since 2017. Stephanie’s excellent social/communication skills and her ability to multitask make her a perfect fit for her role!

Outside of the office, Stephanie and her husband love to travel and try new things. While at home, she enjoys baking with her two daughters, browsing Pinterest, and spending time at the gym when she has the time.
