Dr. Brian L. Eck
San Antonio dentist Dr. Brian Eck, opened his office at George Road on January 4, 1984. A Texas native, born in Kingsville, he has lived in San Antonio since age one. After finishing high school, he attended Texas A&M University, then on to the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He has been practicing comfortable and comprehensive dentistry for 35+ years.
Dr. Eck is married to the former Sheryl Smith of New Braunfels and has two grown children, Gray and Caroline, a daughter-in-law, Dr. Jennifer Eck, and a granddaughter named Lilly. He has been active in the San Antonio Dental Society, serving on the Judicial Committee, and is a dedicated member of the Texas Dental Association and American Dental Association. Dr. Eck loves to teach and work with students, and for over twenty years, he has worked with the San Antonio College Dental Assisting Program, training many of the Dental Assistants in Greater San Antonio. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of the Dental Assisting Program. Now entering his 35th year in dentistry, Dr. Eck is master of clinical expertise, including cosmetic dentistry and overall dental health.

Dr. Eck is passionate about dentistry and looks forward each day to welcoming patients to his friendly office. Meet Dr. Barrett Beardsley
Dr. Barrett Beardsley was born and raised in Southern California. He earned his undergraduate degree in business at Brigham Young University. He then attended dental school at the University of Southern California, after which he became an active-duty officer in the US Army.
While stationed in San Antonio, Dr. Beardsley completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Brooke Army Medical Center. His service in the Army has brought him and his family to Seattle, the Mojave Desert and finally back to San Antonio, the city they consider home.
He is married with four children who love being Texans. He enjoys golf, surfing (it is possible in the gulf) and camping with his family. As a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery he is prepared to meet all the dentoalveolar surgical needs our patients might have.
Meet Dr. Husham Aswad
Originally from Baghdad, Iraq, Dr. Husham Aswad earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery before practicing dentistry for more than 10 years. After moving to the United States with his family, he continued pursuing his passion for dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Since then, Dr. Aswad has enjoyed caring for patients across the Midwest and Texas, and he’s excited to now call Legacy Dental SA home. He looks forward to getting to know each patient and helping them feel confident in their smile for years to come.
Dr. Aswad is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while making every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible. He believes in treating every patient with compassion, honesty, and the personalized attention they deserve.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Aswad enjoys spending time with his wife, Shaymaa, and their two daughters. As a family, they love traveling and exploring new places together.
Meet Dr. Eric Johnson
Dr. Eric Johnson has been proudly serving his patients in dentistry since 1984. A San Antonio native, Dr. Johnson graduated from Churchill High School before attending Texas A&M University. He went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), graduating in 1984.
Dr. Johnson especially enjoys restorative dentistry, where he combines his experience, attention to detail, and passion for helping patients restore the health, function, and appearance of their smiles.
Outside of the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys a variety of hobbies that reflect his curiosity and creativity. He loves scuba diving and photography, and he also enjoys the patience and craftsmanship involved in building model sailing ships.
Dr. Johnson is happily married and is also a devoted animal lover. He and his family share their home with several rescue cats and dachshunds.
With more than four decades in practice, Dr. Johnson brings a lifetime of experience and a genuine passion for dentistry to his patients. He considers it a privilege to build lasting relationships with the people he serves and to help them maintain healthy, confident smiles throughout their lives.
