Making Healthy Smiles More Affordable
Dental insurance makes taking care of all the smiles in your family easier. And when you see a dentist that is in-network on your plan, then you just might be able to save some money, too. Dr. Eck at Legacy Dental is glad to be in-network with MetLife. Be thankful that you are employed by a company that offers great dental benefits from MetLife! The best way to get the most out of your dental coverage is to focus on preventive care. We all know that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and that is certainly true for dentistry.
MetLife Coverage Availability & Fees
We accept MetLife Preferred Dentist Program, or PDP. With this program, you receive benefits whether you and your family choose a participating dentist or not. However, if you decide to visit a participating dentist, you’ll likely be able to maximize your benefit plan with access to lower, out-of- pocket expenses. The fee is typically 10 to 35 percent below the average of other dentists in North Central San Antonio. Your plan may reimburse you for all or part of the PDP fee. When you use a participating PDP dentist, you are responsible only for the difference between MetLife’s benefit payment amount and the PDP fee.
Your benefits are put to good use when you attend dental checkups twice each year. Preventive dentistry will help you avoid dental health problems like cavities, periodontal disease or damage from cracked teeth or loose fillings and crowns. Get the most out of the Our office will be glad to work with you in order to schedule visits that straddle two calendar years, so you never have to spend too much out-of-pocket.
